Hi!

I'm a twenty-six year old German language lover. Languages have always been my passion and after I graduated from school I started building my academic career. I did my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and French romanistics (focus on linguistics) and in 2018 I got my Master's degree in translation sciences (Spanish and French) where I dedicated my final paper to the machine translation of literature. And what can I say: machines are still not able to replace a human translator, especially not in the area of literary translation! I love books and the possibilty to discover new worlds with their help. One of my favourite quotes from the philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein is: the borders of my language mean the borders of my word. With my translation of your book I want to make sure to cross that border and to connect with the German (book) market.
