My name is Nicoletta and I am an Italian native translator.
I translate from English and Spanish into Italian, and I would be delighted to be part of this exciting community, helping authors spread their stories around the world. My favourite fields are tourism, religion, philosophy, history, biographies, sport, TV, cinema and medicine.
Since I was a teenager I have never had doubts about my future and I have dreamt of working with languages, so that I feel blessed to be able to do the job I have always wanted to do. For me translating is more a vocation than a job, and I love George Steiner's quote: "Without translation, we would be living in provinces bordering on silence"!
During my career I have translated interviews, grammar books, activity books for children and tourist guides, and I hope to broaden my experiences with Babelcube.
If possible, I would spend my life travelling; my favourite country is Spain and I try to go there whenever I can, it's like an addiction!
