My idea of translation consists in a little workshop where words take shape in another language and culture. Translators are like craftsmen, they shape ideas in a meticulous and never ending research.

I am Michela, 28 years old English teacher and freelance translator. I generally work with kids, from 0 to 8 through play, sing, imagine and above all have fun! I live in Rome and in 2010 I graduated in literary and linguistic studies with full marks. In 2012 I qualified as teacher in Bologna. I worked as babysitter and then as assistant for an advertising agengy. I travelled a lot in Europe and I have been in US three times. I love American and German literatures. I sometimes play piano and always walk the dog. I have a deep passion for dogs! Recently I am interested in pet therapy. During my free time, I often read books (contemporary fiction), I do aqua-aerobics and I am American television series-addicted! In the past I did kung fu, martial arts and chinese culture and medicine always attracted me. Mens sana in corpore sano!
