I am a French Native Translator with Years of Experience. I am eager to find new projects in the translation field.

If you’re looking for a quick translation, please feel free to ask to someone else, as I have too much respect for your book (shall I say your baby?), to simply run an MTPE, and then a spelling checker. 

I am working personally on each sentence, each adjectives, verbs, etc.

I do enjoy fantasy, novels (except erotica), I don’t work on religion field (not educated enough), legal affaires are as well in my field of competencies.

To make things perfectly clear an 80-000-word book can take about 3 months to translate: 1 – I will fully read your book; 2 – I will start the translation (with the help of a CatTool and adequate translation memory), but I will work by myself on every single sentence, if there are any jokes or cultural things, or idioms, I will ask for help to some colleagues; 3- The edition part: checking all the typos, grammar, tenses, vocabulary, more appropriated words; 4 – Then I will run a tool which read out loud the translation, and my work has to sound like a perfect music to my ears.

In a few words, I want the French version of your book to be really perfect.

For your information, and regarding my hard work, the Kindle market is only 12% of the sales in the French-speaking market, so the paperback market still represents 88%. So if you consider working with me, I would appreciate some paperback edition.

PS: I am a book fetishist in the skin of a book worm, I would enjoy receiving an original version of your book (with a simple word for me) to read it before to start the job; and a paperback edition of the translation with a nice word as well.
