I was born in Argentina and now live in Spain, in constant contact with native English Speakers.
I am a computer programmer and have also obtained a degree in English from the UNED.
I enjoy reading and writing a lot, and some of my favourite subjects for translation into Spanish are related to the self-help and metaphysical areas. But I also enjoy true stories as well as romance.

Author review: There are good, bad and amazing translators on here. Mariela is an amazing one. If you are fortunate enough to have her translate your book - don't let the opportunity pass you by. She is professional, yet warm and friendly. She is on time and easy to communicate with. Most importantly, her translation is perfect, yes perfect, and her grammar is great. I don't speak Spanish - but I had a friend who is bilingual check her translation of my novel (one who had read the English version) and her version was absolutely accurate. It was true to the text. A good translator needs to translate precisely AND capture the essence of the prose. Mariela is skilled at this. I have no doubt with her talent that she will author a novel one day and that she will continue to translate other novels too - to bring the joy of reading into other languages.
