Hi! I‘m Louisa, a 23 y.o. German student of English Language & Literature (major) and Psychology (minor). For as long as I can remember, it‘s been my dream to translate novels since most German translations can only be described as cringy and awkward.
In 2015, straight out of the German version of High School, I had myself certified as Foreign Language Correspondence Clerk. In the fall of 2016 I started my studies and half a year later started my freelance translation business. I have since had a couple of translation and copywriting jobs - which haven‘t really satisfied me since my true calling is literary translation.
Since I‘m still studying, my pace might be below that of professional, graduated, translators. However, my perfectionism will not allow me to deliver any translation that is less than perfect!
