My name is Letícia and I am currently in the last year of college (French as a foreign Language).
I have been teaching French as a foreign language for three years and I do translations for the academic environment and also as a practical activity.
Among some of the translations I made from French to Portuguese (my mother tongue) included the short story RETOUR À VAL D'OR by the Québec author JACQUES FERRON, excerpts from the book Le premier homme by Albert Camus and a selection of ten unpublished poems by Jacques Prévert in Portuguese.
My translations from English to Portuguese were from unpublished books in Brazil and solely for my translation practice. I consume a lot of literature and thanks to my academic knowledge I have a good understanding of the best way to translate.
