I am in my final year of a degree in Korean and have been working as a freelance translator for the last two years. My translation projects are varied, including medical interviews and market research, subtitles for television shows and films, and translating for NGOs. In addition to being a translator, I have also been accepted as translation editor on multiple television shows, ensuring the quality of English subtitles. Most of my translation projects are Korean-English or English-Korean, but I also lived in Germany for 10 years and have some experience working on collaborative volunteer translation projects for the heritage industry in German as well. During my year studying in South Korea, I also took classes on literary translation and German-Korean interpretation as well. I have recently started literary translation and am eager to expand my work as a translator into the world of books which I love and worked in as a book reviewer and blogger for many years.
