I am 61 years old and I was born in Guatemala. I lived for 10 years in the United States, in the Greater Baton Rouge area in Louisiana, so I speak English with a slight southern accent. Since I was an eight-year-old child I developed a taste for reading and I take pride in having a fairly broad vocabulary and very good grammar. I have a college degree and I currently work as a freelance programmer, but reading (and playing chess) has always been my passion. Employing myself as a translator, I hope not only to obtain financial compensation but also to enjoy new sources of reading.
