He was born and raised in the interior of Portugal, close to the border with Spain, trapped between two mountains – Estrela and Gardunha.
After college, he moved to Lisbon, where he attended the Faculty of Letters and got his first jobs. Between 2007 and 2009, he wrote his first book, the novel Call Centre Operator.
After also living and working in Porto, he moved to Eastern Europe, where he’s not returned from yet.
