A common thread: Books can connect with people in many ways

My name is Guillermo Alberto Cervantes Vindiola. I live in Mexicali, Baja California in Mexico. I am an experienced bilingual translator for 8 years and I have worked on letters of recommendation, report cards, diplomas, birth & death certificates and other documents. My interest in books has started since my late teenage years and I have always wanted to try translating them, which is one of the reasons I chose translation as my career.

I am a member of the local association of translators in the city of Mexicali and the head of the association, Rebecca Corella, can vouch for me when it comes to my experience, honesty and fidelity invested in my work. People who had requested my services find me to be a dependable person; someone who is very commited to completing the job regardless of any difficulty I come across. I am very hard working, dedicated, loyal to my clients, and above all I exude confidence & reassurance to any client that needs my services.

Though I admit this will be the first time I ever translate books, I look forward to it as a challenge. It is a chance for me to broaden my horizons and expand my body of work as a translator and I am confident that I can complete any task the customer needs to get done. I believe that books can connect and touch people in many ways because of the stories and messages they give us when we read them and I am confident that many more people will be able to enjoy books in both English and Spanish. That is my commitment and I will see it through. This is a promise.
