English to French translator

I am a freelance English to French translator based in Ottawa, Canada. I hold a bachelor's degree in translation from the University of Ottawa, and a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Ottawa. 

After completing my first degree in 2005, I worked in the cultural sector, notably as a communication and marketing manager for a national not-for-profit organization. I also worked part-time as a quality assurance officer for the government of Canada where I provided revision services for French translations.

In December 2018, I received my bachelor's degree in translation from the University of Ottawa. Since then, I have been working as a freelance translator while raising my 3  children. In the spring of 2019, I published my first youth novel thanks to Babelcube.

I love reading for myself and to my children in French. I have read an extensive quantity of French children books (original and translations) and would love to have the opportunity to translate more.
