Translating books is my passion

I am a native French speaker and  I have been living in Spain  for more than 20 years, so I am fully bilingual in Spanish.

Although I have originally studied to be a secretary, throughout my professional career, I had the opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience in translating documents. I have translated technical documents in different areas, such as banking, informatics, projects presentations, contracts, etc. The translations were mainly from Spanish to French and from French to Spanish, though some others were from Spanish to English.

I have always loved to work with languages and my dream was to translate books, as I find it fascinating, because it makes me discover stories and their characters  much more deeply than when I only read a book.

 I had finally the opportunity to translate a book from Spanish to French, from a Spanish Canary Islander writer, Javier Ramírez Viera. The Spanish title of the book is "la muerte de Lili" and the book was published together with its French translation "La mort de Lili" on Amazon in June 2013, in both Kindle and paper version and it is still sold on this platform currently.

I enjoyed that rewarding experience and I more recently discovered Babelcube where I already had the chance to translate several books, and I hope to carry on doing it in the future.
