I've been working with translation since 2008. I have majors in both English Literature and Translation Studies by the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. I've translated user guides, essays and monographies, but my biggest passions are audiovisual translation and literary/comic book translation. I've worked with a Non-Profit Organization focused on providing subtitles to independent movie producers for a couple of years and, by working with them, I have been able to translate over 20 movies, both for commercial and educational purposes. Currently, I mostly translate comic books and geek-related books and articles for a Brazilian-based publishing house.
I love literature and am an author myself, so it has always seemed logical to me to drift towards working with literary translation. I usually am very careful with deadlines and try my best to deliver the best translation possible in the least time-consuming way.
