A new author and translator with different experiences

I am a Brazilian Economist and Master in Marketing, with more than twenty years experience as an executive in different companies and industries: retail, IT, financial services, insurance, publicity and NGOs.
 
As I have lived in England for 18 months, while attending my MA course, I am fluent in English. In order to get my degree, I had to read a lot, take some exams, and write many assignments and a dissertation with 15,000 words. I also speak very good Spanish and French, with official certificates.
 
In my previous jobs, I have always used these language skills for reading, writing and translating documents, acknowledged for these activities. My American ex-boss has always praised my English presentations. I have also used my communication capacity in meetings, conferences and international business trips.
 
Now I am in a turning point in my career, trying to become an author and a translator. I have just finished my first book in Portuguese. Although it was not published yet, it was very well evaluated for those who have read it. At the moment, I am translating it into English. As the story has happened while I was living in Europe, I want my foreigner friends to read it as well. Besides, I am planning to publish it overseas.
 
Being a cultured person, a voracious reader, a movie lover and a globetrotter, I believe my personal experiences can be very helpful to develop these new activities.
 
I am willing to translate books and novels from/into Portuguese and English. But, because of my professional experience and educational background, I can also translate business and marketing books, articles and papers.
