I am a retired professor from the Universidad Pedagógica Experimental Libertador, in Venezuela, in the areas of literature, linguistics and pedagogy. I obtained a doctorate in Hispanic American Philology at the University of Salamanca, Spain. I have written and published poetry books and essays. Also, I'm a magazine editor. I currently direct the magazine Entreletras. My translations have appeared in several magazines and books.
