During my university career, I had the opportunity to improve my theoretical and practical skills about translation strategies in diverse specialized and professional texts belonging to various fields of knowledge (medicine, economy, politics, law and technical-scientific). Moreover, I improved also my editing and revision skills to adopt in relation to genre. Furthermore, my experience as English-to-Italian subtitling translator of two short films gave me the opportunity to deepen the knowledge about specific translation tools and to optimise my translation skills.
