I'm a french translator who loves reading and writing - two qualities you might find are pretty common in my field of work.
I am specialized in legal and technical translations, however I do a lot of free work as a volunteer in many other areas, including literary translation.
Anybody could translate a text using a dictionnary or a free online translator. The way I see it, my job is to go beyond this simplistic approach and adapt your ideas and words to the intricacies of the french culture so that you can truly find success in your projects.
My work as a freelance translator has given me plenty of experience with technical texts, but I spend most of my free time reading fantasy books. Music, well-being and fitness also occupy an important place in my life.
