I've got a first level degree in Eastern Languages and Cultures and a second cycle degree in Modern Languages for international Communication and Cooperation, both obtained with honors. I can understand (listen and read), speak and write English, French and Chinese correctly.

I can relate with people coming from different cultural, social and language backgrounds thanks to my educational path, my travels abroad and my job experiences.

I have good translation skills for literary, press, general, specialized and multimedia texts. I'm autonomous in organizing my work, I'm able to examine possible problems and find actionable solutions.

In 2010 I worked as linguistic and cultural mediator in a highschool in Pesaro (Italy), where I helped teachers in evening classes for foreign students. In the same year I also collaborated with the University of Macerata (Italy) and translated for them the University website from Italian into Chinese and into English. In 2014 I translated from Italian into English the book "The Marche of Masters. Handicraft answers to new challenges" (original title: Le Marche dei Maestri. L'arte artigiana risponde alle nuove sfide), published in Italy by the Marche Region, Department of Manufacturing Activities, Innovation and Research. In 2015 I worked as a freelance translator and interpreter for Chinese and English and started teaching Italian language to foreigners. Since March 2016 I've been working as linguistic-cultural mediator and Italian teacher in reception centres for asylum seekers and refugees at Italian Red Cross. However, I still continue doing interpreting and translation services as a freelancer.
