After nearly twenty years of teaching (business and sciende), I quit, left Europe and settled in SE Asia. I was a business manager for a few years in Sri Lanka, after which I became the freelance translator I still am.
While most of my translation work involves business texts and documents, science has always held a strong second position. I have translated science, introductory medicine, astronomy and astrophysics. In recent decennia I have been following the amazing discoveries in the areas of the origin of life, the origin of the universum and the search for exoplanets with great pleasure. Unfortunately, much of this knowledge has still enjoyed insufficient access by a broader audience. I hope to receive translation assignments to change this.
