Sales info:

This is book 2 of a series with book 3 coming out next month.  It is just released so there is no sales ranking.  Book one ranked in the top 100 in paranormal thriller for a while on amazon.com and is one of my best sellers.  Since I already have some pre-orders, I'm assuming this book will be as well received as the first.

We were first introduced to Dr. Vickie Anderson in Book One, Vickie: Doctor by day.  Zombie hunter by night.  If you haven’t read it, I highly recommend doing so in order to get the most out of this installment of her many adventures.

If you are too eager to begin this story without taking the time to read book one, I’ll give you a brief summary to help you out.

Vickie Anderson grew up on a farm with a strong interest in helping her fellow man heal with holistic medicine.  While attending a course offered by the local community college that was taught by the very handsome and sexy, Dr. Peter Thomason, she decided that the best way to help others heal was by integrating traditional and holistic medicine.

Meeting up with the handsome doctor at a coffee house and spending a few hours sipping coffee - and secretly fantasizing about bedding him - while picking his brain about medical school, her mind was made up.  She was going to become a doctor.  So, Vickie went off to college and Dr. Peter Thomason headed to Africa with Doctors Without Borders.

Fast forward twelve years.

After successfully graduating top in her class, Vickie accepted a position in a small community called Wolf Junction, that was located in the Blue Ridge Mountains, as the town doctor.  She rented a house - sight unseen - through a realtor because the house had a small office suite that she felt she could work from. Thus, cutting down on expenses while she paid off the loans that she’d accrued while in school.

Surprised to learn that the house she rented was not only the size of a small hotel, but it was a former funeral home, she soon found use for the mortuary in the basement when she was appointed the county coroner and medical examiner.
