I have only been published a few years, but I write quickly ( 10 novels in the last 11 months) so my inventory of published works is growing. If you have not read book one; Vickie: Doctor by day. Zombie Hunter by night and book two; Vickie: Doctor by day, Werewolf Hunter by night, I strongly recommend that you do it before starting this book in order to enjoy a better reading experience.
To summarize where we’re at, we met Vickie and followed her as she transitioned from an innocent college graduate taking her first real job as a doctor while falling in love for the first time, to being captured by and battling zombies and having the love of her life - Dr. Peter Thomason, who just happened to be a vampire and who felt duty bound to leave her and return to Africa to search for a cure for vampirism – walk out of her life.
Devastated, - not only by Peter’s leaving, but by secrets that he’d withheld that broke her heart - Vickie didn’t stay single for long. The hot and sexy sheriff, Max Orwell – who’d longed to be with her since they’d first met - quickly moved
in after Peter took off.
When werewolves moved into the area, her witch friend, Megan, moved out of her remote home and into Vickie’s house as a safety measure, while her vampire boarders, Angela and Evan, hunted them. New to hunting werewolves, Evan presented one to Vickie in hopes that she would study and research it for a cure for werewolfism. Unfortunately, he mistakenly thought that it was dead when it wasn’t. Vickie, Megan, and Max found themselves battling it in the middle of the night. Realizing that bullets didn’t faze the beast, Vickie resorted to the method that she’d used to take down the zombies; a syringe filled with GHB. After which, they wasted no time beheading it to assure that it was dead.
