Ingredients

4 slices Italian bread

4 teaspoons vegan margarine, divided

4 fresh garlic cloves, crushed, divided  

4 ounces shredded vegan mozzarella, divided

 

Directions

1.           Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (170 degrees C).

2.           Spread about 1 teaspoon vegan margarine over each slice of bread.

3.           Spread 1 clove of garlic on the bread and spread evenly, using the margarine as a base. Top with about 1 ounce shredded cheese. Finish remaining bread.

4.           Put bread onto a baking sheet and into oven for 10 minutes. Then set to broil for 2 to 3 minutes, just until the cheese is evenly melted.  Watch the bread closely during the broil so it does not burn
