The Melting Dead by Doug Lamoreux

Everything they touch burns. Everyone they touch dies. Everything they kill comes back from the dead.

The melting dead

Chicago theater director Angela Roskowic travels to a small town on the Mississippi River, only to find out that something is very wrong.

After getting trapped on a secluded island with a vacationing geologist, she realizes that there are bloodthirsty zombies to keep them company. As the plague spreads, the two are forced to band together and fight for their lives.

Part spine-tingling horror, part side-splitting comedy, The Melting Dead is a delightfully campy and satirical take on the typical zombie tale.
