The use of slow cookers diminished after the microwave was invented. The idea of instant food did not do well for slow cookers. However, its popularity is returning and more people are realizing its great advantage over other kitchen equipment. The moist heat from the cooker prevents the meal from drying out. To Prepare for Freezing

Remove all of the skin and bone of the chicken breast. You can also purchase boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Keep the chicken breasts whole. You will be shredding them near the end of the cooking phase.

In a small bowl, combine the rosemary and pepper.
Rub onto the chicken breasts.  Place the chicken breasts into a freezer bag.  Seal completely.
Wash and peel the carrots.  Shred and place into a bowl.
Wash, peel and chop the onion.  Mix with the carrots.
Once they are mixed.  Spoon half of the mixture into a small bowl, and add 3/4 cup of cream of chicken soup. Mix thoroughly before transferring to a freezer bag. Seal.
Place the remaining carrots and onions into a separate freezer bag and seal.
In another freezer bag, add the remaining cream of chicken soup and the butter.   Make sure the butter is in chunks.
Seal.

Place all three bags into a larger freezer bag. Seal and label the larger bag with the name of the dish, the date you prepped the meal, the cooking time, and the heat setting.

Freeze.

To Slow Cook

Take the bags out of the freezer.
On the bottom, place the carrot-onions, and soup mixture.
Top with the chicken breasts.
Cover with the remaining carrots and onion mixture.
Place the remaining soup and butter mixture on the top of the carrot mixture.
All of the layers will be hard lumps but don't worry, it will even out with the cooking process.
