Siva finds himself in trouble when a tempting offer came that would make him a billionaire in twenty-four hours

Secret billionaire makers

In a small but very expensive hotel of the nation’s capital, it is just announced that an investigation specialist, named Siva is next in line to become a billionaire. A powerful, ruthless group nominated him when he travels the country fighting money looting and money laundering.

But Siva would not take one point five billion to discontinue the money scandal case – to which many names are linked – of a presidential candidate who died in police custody.

With this though, Siva gets by far more than what he bargains for. His donors of one point five billion murdered the politician, they are linked to the scandal, and they don’t want to see Siva live.

They will use Siva, first, to locate the traitors among them, then, they will kill him without a second thought

Sample text:

Fear gripped Siva when he saw the contents of the bag. Starched bundles of one thousand naira notes were carefully arranged from the bottom to the top of the bag.

Siva hung back. The man explained to him the value of the contents  of each bag.

‘This is a hundred million naira,’ the man tutored, opening the bag wider. ‘It is just for you. Each of the other four contains as much money. That means you have five hundred million naira right now.’

Siva stepped further backward. ‘Why do I deserve to have this?’ he said.

‘We believe that you are hungry,' the man said. 'Hunger drives people to terrible things. We don’t want you to deface the beautiful image of Usman Omotola in the people's memory. You can even resign from your job after this time, after getting this money. Why would you labour after becoming so rich...?’

‘We can make it one billion if you like,’ the voice of the foremost man boomed across from the table. ‘Don't be afraid of how to lodge the money in the bank. We can get someone to do that for you, just in case it worries you.’

‘CBN is tracking deposits of large sums now,' Siva said.

‘Don't worry your pretty head about that. The monitoring department works for us. We also have some contingency in case something goes wrong.'
