Let me be clear. When I’m talking about systemising your business, I’m in no way, shape, or form encouraging you to abdicate from your responsibilities. This is a big misconception a lot of people have. We hear about all these tools and apps which enable you to automate your business. Many of them I use and I recommend that my clients make use of them also. However, I don’t subscribe to the notion of automating your business to a point where you don’t need to have to do anything, that you just set it and forget it.
I know for some business functions this is fine. I also know that for some online entrepreneurs, this is the goal. To build a system that is totally automated and all you do is turn the machine on and wait for the emails from PayPal to start ringing. As I said, I’m not against this. For some business models, this type of system works very well.
