Ingredients:

5 pounds fresh shrimp, deveined, tails removed
1 cup of butter
2 large white onions, diced
6 stalks of celery, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
4 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups + ¼ cup water
3 Tablespoons paprika
Pinch of salt and fresh ground pepper, each
Pinch crushed chili flakes

Directions:

1) Rinse the shrimp, pat dry.

2) In a large skillet, melt the butter.

3) Add the onions, garlic, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes.

4) Add the shrimp. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink.

5) In a small cup, combine the flour and ¼ cup water. Mix until it forms a slurry (thickening agent for the dish). Set aside.

6) Add 2 cups water to skillet. Stir in paprika, salt, pepper, crushed chili. Mix well.

7) Stir in slurry mixture. Cook for 5 minutes, until it thickens.

8) Serve immediately. Side with white or brown rice, salad.
