Lockdown poetry

Through my tainted eyes, it's always snowy;

Tropical skies, a true topsy-turvy.

Is there blood on my cheeks? No need for fears,

The mud on my face: It must be my tears.

My self-esteem taught me I was ugly,

On goes the face filters – now I'm pretty

With a storm of hearts and pixie dust.

Like one of the tarts, I'm his one true lust.

Fire soaring, stripped beige; it's getting fruitful,

Like we never age; I feel beautiful!

He bathes me in his neon fantasies:

Turns them into vibrant realities.
