'Holy Christ!' Siva raised his head and shouted to the air. 'Who is going to argue this? You trust him. Our work here is to trust people now. Isn't that good news. Excitement killed Omotola. His Mandela desire gave him heart attack in prison. Power restoration promise cut his blood flow. And you have told me that we are here not for good news. ain't I a silly thing?'

Richard turned from the playing tape. 'That's what they say,' he said. 'The investigation is on. There's nothing else yet. They say that it's a heart attack. Maybe he was thinking and was excited and he died.'

‘Suppose there was conspiracy.’ Siva said.

'A saviour can't be a victim of destruction,' Rodia said.

'Was he a saviour?' Siva was skeptical.

'Siva, this is some legal cynicism. He was helping people who were hungry and you know.'

'He was a civil servant too. How come he had all that money to throw everywhere?'

'But he hadn't been in any scandal,' Rodia argued.

'Suppose there was conspiracy?' Siva asked again.

Richard and Rodia didn't answer. The tape was playing and showing on the television again. Nobody was looking now. They were looking at the shelves.

‘Probably he had some political enemies. I don't mean that they killed him if he had. There is nothing in the air to think that such ones killed him.’

'Yes, his struggles with them is not enough to kill him. The big guys don't even kill like that. But if there is something for which they kill it must be a good secret.'
