The first verse of the Bible says – “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”. The Bible does not attempt to prove the existence of God it opens with a positive fact that God exists. No other writer in the Bible deemed it necessary to prove this fact. The Bible only goes on to say in Psalm 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God”.
How do we know that God exists?
I. PROOF FROM SCRIPTURE:
Ps. 19:1 – “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth His handiwork” – in other words God’s creation proves that He exists.
Rom 1:20 “for the invisible things of Him from creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and God head; so they are without excuse”.
