Sample text:

Leadership is a calling; and leaders are tasked to do the right thing for their organization. Many people confuse leadership with management but they are totally different things. A manager is a person who does things right. His is an occupation and he is paid in order to do things right or to ensure that things are done right. Leadership calls for one to do the right thing. A leader is paid to motivate and inspire, creating lasting positivity in the organization. Leadership will demand certain tools and guidelines to make it successful. That is why a leader is always required to have certain skills and qualities that will bring to reality what leadership is all about.

Leadership is not easy. From a distance you might think that leaders are having a great time leading teams but the challenge that they face will surprise you. On the positive side, a leader is never alone in all this. He has the people that are working with him to achieve a certain goal and to meet every challenge along the way. He is not the one to fix problems, rather a leader’s role is to inspire his team to solve the problems that they face on their own.

Leaders must set goals to achieve. They must have visions towards which they are working. That is why leadership is always seen as a success when the leader is working towards a certain project, maybe social constructs or development of individuals. This is what triggers the motivation and the passion of leaders, which in most cases are within him. Most of these skills that are see in leadership cannot be faked, because in most cases the leader is not usually motivated by any monetary benefit as is often the case with management. Effective leadership in an organization therefore entails a leader that is confident, who is working for the benefit of the people he is leading and the organization as well, and someone that they can fully trust.
