Carlotta is 16, she lived all her life in Africa, between safari and whale watching. Now she moves to Italy with her family, she has to find new friends in the new school. All her friends are allover the world and they help each others with Skype. She likes to watch her pictures, she remembers and reflect about her life. Her mother cooks food of the countries where she lived, thieboudienne, bobotie, poulet yassa, mafé, not to forget the 16 years of Africa but trying to go further. She invites her friend and talk about the travels they did. The family stays open to the world, at the end they organize a big travel in India where Carlotta will meet one of her friends

The book was published on 26 march 2015, still new, I don/t know how many copiess I sold. For the mothers day in Italy I put it free and I got first position, after that I kept good position on Amazon classment, I cannot be more precise. But since my husband's job is in France since 20 years, I know more people in France then in Italy (I attend bookclubs, 3 friends are writers).

Ho sedici anni, mi sento sola perché sono diversa da tutte le persone che mi circondano, e questo non mi piace. Non appartengo a nessun luogo. Ho abitato in Africa per cinquemilasettecentosessantaquattro giorni (5764!), per me l’Italia significava solo che la scuola era finita e nonni e cugini mi aspettavano per le vacanze.
