How To Make A Book by Ana C. Antunes

Introduction
After writing a book about writing a book and being published (or self-published) I decided it was time to write a book about how to make a book. For I think this is becoming a lost art after all the technology and all the easy access we all have now to support our dream of becoming published writers. So this book is all about manipulating materials that can be recycled, and for that matter it touches another soft point in my theory that nothing that matters can be really wasted and that everything can be transformed into something useful. Besides I am totally a believer that if you think you can do it you can! And I'm also a live proof that yes, we can!
I used to write made-up stories when I was a little girl. And as every creative and curious child, I also drew imaginative and engaging situations. Thus I started to create things with my own hands. For instance, I created a whole clothe-line to my paper-cut dolls that I made by simply drawing them on paper and they all came to life after I gave them names. Each name created a character and they all interacted with each other depending on the mood their clothes gave them.
And so it is with books. I remember being mesmerized by them when I visited a library for the first time. They invited me to open that like little treasures ready to be explored. Hence my love for books (and storytelling) began in a very early age.
So now, after writing more than forty books, for children alone, and more than twenty books, four of them novels, for the adults, I feel I'm entitled to engage in this new venture, of teaching how to make a book by yourself, and that doesn't mean for yourself only, since you can make them as precious gifts for the ones you love. Happy making believe!

Author review:
Gaia made a wonderful job, she kept a good communication and showed real concern on providing a good translation. She even made the effort to rhyme where she found a poetry piece, I am happy with the result and looking forward for others to enjoy the Italian version of my book as well.
