-1 teaspoon salt

-1 teaspoon pepper

-1 (12 oz) bottle barbecue sauce

-1/2 cup Italian salad dressing

-1/4 cup brown sugar

-2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

-2 tablespoon butter

 

Trim chicken of any unwanted fat or unsightly areas.  Season chicken with salt and pepper.  Place chicken in slow cooker.  In a bowl, mix the barbecue sauce, Italian salad dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.  Pour over the chicken.

Cover and cook 3 to 4 hours on High or 6 to 8 hours on Low.  Add butter during final 30 minutes of cook time.  Serve with a side of your favorite vegetables.

-1/2 (1 ounce) package dry ranch salad dressing mix

-2 tablespoons butter

-6 hoagie rolls, split lengthwise

-Ranch dressing or bleu cheese to taste

             

Trim chicken of any unwanted fat or unsightly areas.  Season chicken with salt and pepper.  Place the chicken into slow cooker.  Pour in 3/4 of the wing sauce and the ranch dressing mix. 

Cover and cook on High for 3 to 4 hours or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.  Add the butter during the last 30 minutes of cook time.

Once the chicken is fully cooked, shred the meat with two forks.  Place the meat onto the hoagie rolls and top with remaining buffalo wing sauce.  Drizzle with ranch dressing or bleu cheese if desired.  Serve with a side of your favorite vegetables.
