Making money as a drop shipper can be a very easy way to generate passive income. There are many advantages to becoming the middleman between manufacturer and consumer. If you’re a good negotiator and can handle logistics well, dropshipping may be the best opportunity for you to earn income with only a little bit of effort.
What is it and How Does It Work?
In simple terms, Dropshipping is a form of supply chain management where the retailer does not keep products in stock but instead forwards orders from customers and shipment details directly to the manufacturer or the wholesaler. The wholesaler then ships the products directly to the customer. Your role as the drop shipper (retailer) is to play the middleman and you are paid based on the difference between the wholesale price and retail.
There are several ways you can work as a drop shipper. A small retailer who sells only to the general public can place an order to have a product delivered directly to a customer’s address. This may be the most common form of dropshipping and is probably the easiest to get into.
