While it may not be as well-known as intellectual intelligence (IQ), emotional intelligence (EQ) is responsible for making it possible for some people to more naturally connect with others in a productive way. EQ helps them effortlessly make the right choice in the moment and generally be able to create positive actions from good intentions.

Believe it or not, the majority of our communication is actually non-verbal. This means that most of what we are saying is expressed through our movements, posture, expressions, and actions. This collective form of communication is known as body language.

Sample text:

Holding objects in front of the body is a similar gesture to crossing the arms, in that is a 'barrier' gesture suggesting nervousness.  The objects vary but include papers or documents and handbags.  It can be a combined gesture featuring both barrier and self-hugging signs.  Usually it's a strong indication that the individual is uncomfortable with a situation and is looking for an opportunity to distract from it or move away.  More subtly this gesture may take the form of fiddling with cuffs, collars, ties or clothing in general, while moving an arm in front of the body.  This generally indicates similar emotions but also denotes an attempt to control them.
