Before Sunset by Michael D. Young

How to Be Anxiously Engaged in a Good Cause

A latter-day guide to using your time wisely.

Before sunset

The scriptures tell us that we must labor while it is still called today, because the night of darkness is coming in which no labor can be performed. In this volume, I explore ways that you can best use the limited time you have to build God's kingdom and to refine yourself into the kind of person you want to be. I also examine what the scriptures and modern revelation have to tell us about using the precious time that we have.

And it came to pass…

One of the most repeated phrases in the scriptures has to do with the passage of time. The Book of Mormon often reminds the reader which year of the reign of the judges it is, or how long it has been since the coming of the Savior or since Lehi left Jerusalem. In short, the scriptures are full of references to time, and how different people have used the time allotted them. The prophets warn how important time is and how the Lord views those who waste the precious little they have been given.
