Auntie & The Baby by Amanda Monsue

A playful/immature Auntie meets and gets to know her new niece/nephew.

Auntie & the baby

"Auntie & The Baby" is inspired by all the creative and playful Aunties of the world! It is a simple story about an Auntie meeting The Baby for the first time. At first, she isn't sure what to DO with The Baby, but they gradually warm up to each other and become best buddies, ready to embark on many adventures together.

The book can be read to a neice or a nephew, and the book can be used as a coloring book, adding skin tones to the characters if desired.

Sales info:

Since the book started selling in March 2014, it has sold over 400 copies. At one point it was in the top 25 of Children's Picture books on Amazon.com. It has consistently sold 2 to 15 copies a month since it's release, Christmas was an active time for the book.

I wish to translate the book into Spanish, French, German, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and possibly other languages. Aunties are all over the world!

As this is a short picture book, I would imagine the translation would not take a long period of time.

Sample text:

Peyoow!

Sometimes you’re a stinky baby!

Well, sometimes Auntie is stinky, too!

Sometimes you’re a curious baby...

…and sometimes Auntie is curious, too!
