The central character fails to find love in London. After a breakdown he goes to Scotland to recuperate and there meets and falls in love with Pauline. She seems dissimilar to Dawn but in the end betrays her new boyfriend and the central character returns to London uncured.

Author review: I don't know French well but I queried some matters like punctuation and was answered curtly. It was not that easy to communicate with this translator. Issues like punctuation and layout of dialogue remain just that - issues. I think communication between writer and translator, especially towards the end of a project, is very important because if the communication is good, the end-product will definitely benefit. |
