Running for their lives in the darkness of the night, Erica and Grady lead their group of eight into the woods near the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. They run through the woods, terrified by what they just encountered. As they continue to run, Grady looked back and noticed whatever they were running from has stopped following them. He turned to Erica and glanced at the group.

“They’re not following us anymore.”

“That doesn’t mean they’ll leave us alone. We have to keep moving.”

“Erica, look around you, it’s night and we have nowhere else to go. We’ll stay here for the night and head off at the brink of dawn.”

Erica nodded and walked toward the other members of the group, checking them for injuries or cuts. Grady looked around the area, not hearing or seeing anything that’s approaching them. He sighed and walked toward the group.

At the brink of dawn, Grady leads Erica and the other members of the group out of the woods and towards a set of streets. Grady is a Caucasian male with dirty blond hair coming down to his neck as Erica is of Hispanic descent with a little Italian. Grady tells them that they must keep moving straight.

As they move straight, following the street paths, they find themselves inside a suburb area. The streets abandoned by cars being left with their doors open and trash surrounding the homes. Grady spots a few homes and sees the windows broken in and doors kicked down. He walked ahead and saw five homes that looked undamaged.
