Sample text:

There were many different pets in the pet store. It was full of all kinds of animals. Some were big, some were small, some were furry, some had feathers and some even had scales. But when Robbie walked into the store one day, every single pet stared at him hopefully.

They were all waiting for someone to be their new owner. Each of the pets wanted a home to live in and an owner who would love them. And each time someone walked into the store, the pets would hold their breath, hoping that this would be the perfect new owner for them. They would smile their biggest smile and look as friendly as they could, in the hope that they would be chosen.

“I want a nice little old lady to take me home,” said a ginger cat named Felix. “Then I can snuggle up on her lap and sleep in comfort all day long. I would love that!”

“I want an active boy to take me home,” said a spotted dog named Darcy. “Then he can throw sticks and balls for me to fetch every day. I would love that!”

“I want a friendly little girl to take me home,” said a cute little white mouse named Millie. “Then I can sit on her shoulder while she feeds me cheese each day. I would love that!”

“And I want a musical family to take me home,” said a very pretty, yellow canary named Casper. “Then I can sing to them from my beautiful gilded cage which I can come and go from as I please. I would love that!”

“Well, I just want someone who is kind and caring,” said a brightly colored rainbow fish named Gus. “Then I can swim around in my own roomy fish tank and have plenty to eat. That’s what I would love!”

And each of them stared hopefully at Robbie because the truth was that they just wanted a nice home to go to and a nice owner to love them.
