Born in Kekem, Cameroon, in 1990, Sophonie Blaise Kebanwou is, above all, a servant and passionate lover of Jesus Christ. Like his Lord, who knew precisely at the age of 12 why He had come to Earth, Sophonie was blessed to discover his vision and calling at the early age of four. This revelation became the driving force of his life: to heal the brokenhearted and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ (Luke 2:49; Luke 4:18–19). He holds a doctorate in pastoral counseling.
A tireless evangelist and missionary who has served the Kingdom for more than 20 years, Sophonie travels the world to fulfill this mandate. Undertaking approximately 40 mission trips each year, his ministry reaches numerous countries across Central Africa, West Africa, North America, and Europe—including Cameroon, Benin, Togo, Canada, Germany, and France—where he organizes crusades, seminars, book signings, conferences, and evangelistic campaigns.
In 2006, under clear divine guidance, he founded the Les Amoureux de Jésus-Christ movement. What began as a calling to proclaim the Gospel has grown into a movement of leaders serving the Church—a true ministry of evangelism, inner healing, spiritual restoration, and practical support for those most in need.
A Practitioner of Inner Healing
Beyond the evangelistic platform, Sophonie Blaise Kebanwou serves as a true practitioner of inner healing for those experiencing emotional and spiritual pain. Called to restore deeply broken lives, he devotes much of his ministry to supporting and setting free people suffering from demonic oppression or emotional wounds such as deep trauma, rejection, abandonment, betrayal, humiliation, injustice, and repeated setbacks.
Through attentive listening, dialogue, inspired prayer, and discerning spiritual and psychological guidance, he helps wounded souls tend to their hidden pain, rediscover their identity in Christ, and achieve holistic well-being.
