I’m a former Swedish diplomat, media expert, communicator, lecturer, and analyst. I have over 20 years of diplomatic experience and a wealth of knowledge in public and media relations, and communications.
Today, I want to use my language skills, professional experience, and cultural understanding to offer translations from English, Portuguese, and Spanish into Swedish, and from Swedish into English.
For the past two decades, everything I've done professionally has revolved around writing and translating. As a diplomat, press secretary to the Swedish Foreign Minister, ministry spokesperson, and editor of the ministry's internal magazine, I wrote, translated, edited, and/or proofread thousands of reports and press releases on a variety of topics, including politics, economics, human rights, social and cultural affairs, history, and sports.
Besides my native Sweden, I have lived in Belgium, Colombia, England, Ireland, Israel, Saudi-Arabia, and Spain. I currently reside in Lisbon, Portugal.
My academic credentials include a Bachelor of History from Uppsala University in Sweden and a Master of Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium.
