I am a young professional with a degree in law and also an international certification in ELT (English Language Teaching) My native language is Spanish. I am a "latina" married to a Canadian engineer who really enjoys translating, interpretation and teaching of languages, counting French as my third language now!
Management, leadership, and liaison role between Spanish speaking medical professionals and English speaking students of medicine in their interactions with low-income communities, during mobile clinics and development projects of social improvement, have given me the experience not just to translate but actually make a sound interpretation of what is really meant to be said.
My passion for languages has taken me to so many different places and open as many doors. From being an interpreter for an American NGO in Peru for over two years to actually becoming a certified teacher in ELT. Revising, editing, and correcting reports, articles, essays, investigation projects, and more, were part of my daily agenda. I am not just capable but competent and very excited about the prospect of a new challenge.
