Sample text:

Megan Beck assembled her equipment and contemplated how she got roped into this particular assignment.

It was three days ago, she thought to herself.  Joey did it.

Megan completed the assembly of the automatic weapon that had been waiting for her.  She inserted the clip holding the ammunition, put her hand on the other piece of equipment that was there for her, and waited for her cue to come out shooting.

I love shooting things up, and eliminating bad guys, but I don’t even know what’s going on!

***

Two days earlier, Megan and her husband, Dexter, were working in the Justice Security computer lab on the second sub-basement level in the Justice Security Building.  As the resident Information Technology experts, they were working with their computer teams, building a top- secret, computer-driven, remote security system for a local government entity, when the phone on the desk rang.  Megan answered.

“Hey, Rambo!” said Percival “King Louie” Washington.  “Lemme talk to Dex, please…we got some workin’ out to do.”

Megan smiled at her friend and partner.  “Sure, Louie, hold on a minute.”  She handed the phone to Dexter.  He spoke to Louie for a moment, then hung up.
