Hellfire by JB Trepagnier

A Paranormal Academy Reverse Harem Romance

The daughter of Lucifer and an Ancient prophecy

Hellfire

New enemies, new allies.

I survived my first year at Fortuna Academy. Lucifer met my mates and it wasn’t totally mortifying. I met Azriel’s mom and she’s not that bad. We’re all back at school and we have a mission—find that prophecy and figure out who tried to poison Keane. Everyone in our group has a least favorite Hellhound they suspect of doing the deed, but really, we have nothing.

That is, until Lilith comes through with information from school records. Both Hellhounds that have been harassing me have secrets, but this one ties back to Keane and the Lilim.

We finally find the prophecy as we gather more allies. Even with the warlock police and Hellhounds on our side, I’m woefully under prepared for any of this. Suck it up, buttercup. That’s my only option. With Lucifer as my father and all the prophecies surrounding my birth, the only thing I can do is figure things out.

I’m the Princess of Hell. I can do this, right?

y cat could have been purring so loudly, our entire dorm wing could hear it, and neither of us cared. When I found out who tried to poison me, I fully intended to laugh in their face and tell them it just brought Hayley and me closer before I killed them. Seriously, if I hadn’t almost died, we wouldn’t be sleeping in the same bed right now. I’d probably never get this chance again, but she wanted to make completely sure I was healed, so we were snuggled in my bed with her sending me hellfire.

And my cat and I loved every minute. She could go back to remembering she hated me tomorrow, but just for tonight, my mate was snuggled into my chest, and I could smell the smoked vanilla of her hellfire as she sent it to me because she was worried about me. She decided I wasn’t allowed to die, and she saved my life. I wouldn’t have felt her calling me back unless she cared just a little bit.

She sighed and rubbed her face in my chest. I couldn’t help it. Her head was right there. I rubbed my cheek on her soft hair and scent marked her. I hoped every single Hellcat and Hellhound at Fortuna Academy smelled it too. Let whichever Hellhound tried to poison me smell my cat all over her and wonder how I wasn’t dead.

Not many people knew how to reverse hellebore poisoning, my mother being one of the few. It was her that came up with the remedy since my twin and I could be killed by it. She wrote the spell herself when she realized hellebore could kill us.
