While English and Dutch look quite similar at first, there's a sea of difference between them. Sentence construction can be radically different, as well as cultural background. My name is Yolanda Broekman and I have for more than 12 years’ experience as a translator/editor. I’m originally Dutch but have been living abroad for a long time (Sri Lanka, India, Egypt). This has provided me with a thorough of English, which in these countries is commonly used as the means for international communication. 
In all these years it has been my goal to produce high quality, culturally accurate translations from English to Dutch. To me, attention to detail, a tendency to perfectionism and an in-depth insight in the context play an important role. I have a broad experience and a wide field of interest in topics such as health, alternative medicine, cooking, travel, etc.
