Twigboat Press was founded in March 2015 by J. H. Bardwell. To date we have published three works of fiction: Appalachian Monster/Coming-of-Age/64,500 words, Tales of Lost Fear/Horror Anthology/11,800 words, and Tales of Lost Love/Romance Anthology/10,300 words. Our reviews across Amazon and Goodreads average 3.5 stars; specific favorable feedback includes

“Interesting writing, I quite enjoyed it. The poems were beautiful, each of the stories is written in a completely different voice, I find that fascinating. Amazing work.”

“Mixed feelings. This book gives me mixed feelings. Is it just a simple story about life and love? About forgetting and forgiving? About our domestic lives and the magic hidden within? Or is this book a clever work of art? Overall a clever book and it makes you think about ordinary life and the hidden magic within. “

– Es Summer (www.goodreads.com/)

We are currently looking to expand into the burgeoning international markets and seek translators who are enthusiastic about engaging the promotional side of things and interested in continuing through a five-book series to maintain a consistent voice from book to book. (With the exception of the anthologies or the occasional standalone novel like Appalachian Monster, most of our past and projected future novels in 2015-2017 are part of a series that follow the same characters with overarching plots.)

We will continue to sporadically publish the 10,000 word anthologies, but are phasing those out in favor of longer series novels. In the upcoming year, we anticipate publishing 6 new 60,000-100,000 word novels, rotating through a staggered schedule for a Fantasy and a Romance series, publishing one book for each series every four months.

We look forward to working with you and establishing a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship!
