I've been a translator for more than 30 years and have translated 28 books, many of them fiction. I also have a MD. in Applied Linguistics to translation and a Ph.D in Communication and Semiotics. I'm currently finishing the biography of the poet, critic and translator Haroldo de Campos. Reading, writing and translating have always been my calling and my passion. I translate from English, French and Spanish into Portuguese and from Portuguese into English. I also write poems, essays and short stories.
